First Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart

Friday, October 6th is First Friday and everyone is invited to OLSH for devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass starts at 6:30 pm, followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and devotional prayers. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered during this time. The evening concludes at 8:00 pm with prayers of consecration to the Sacred Heart and Benediction.

Sts. Peter & Paul has a Holy Hour from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday September 20th. The Sacrament of Penance will be offered.

Worship Commission

 

The SPP’s Worship Commission, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Worship Office, assists the parish in matters of liturgical renewal, guidance, and direction by providing ongoing liturgical formation. The Commission serves by informing pastoral ministers of official directives, modifications and changes to the liturgy and coordination of programs.

The Worship Commission oversees the ministry of Lectors, Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers, Musicians, Ushers & Greeters, and Art & Environment. There are numerous volunteer opportunities and many avenues to give your time and talent, please contact any of the above members or parish office to volunteer.
